Bill Piggott is a life-long sports car enthusiast, Bill Piggott has been Registrar of
the TR Register since 1978. The access that this position gives him to
factory records arid archives affords him a unique opportunity to do justice
to the subject of Triumph TR sports cars.
A TR enthusiasts since, 1970, he has owner virtually every examples
every model, although he is particularly fond of the TR2 especially the
long door cars.
Original Triumph TR is Bill's second book about these cars. currently
also writing a third, a specific history of the TR2/3/3A models drawn from
contemporary sources.
Aged 46 arid a solicitor by profession~ Bill lives in a restored cottage
in eastern -Nottinghamshire with his wife, two daughter and several TRs.
Paul Debois is an outstanding freelance Car photographer whose work
has appeared in seven previous original titles. Formerly the staff photographer
for Classic and Sports Car and What Car?, he is well-known for his photographs
in many leading car magazines. He shot all the photographs in this book
on Fuji 50 arid 100 film, using Nikon F3 35mm and Mamiya RB67 cameras.
