About You look into an old abandoned barn or garage or warehouse--and there's the car you've searched for your whole life.
Here are the true stories of people who found their dream cars in the most unlikely places:
A
man finds one of three King Cobras ever built in a junkyard in South
Carolina; another discovers a rare Delahaye in a barn in the former
Czech Republic; yet another answers an obscurely written ad in a local
paper to discover a Triumph TR3 that had run the Daytona 24 Hour race
in the early 1960s.
The list goes on and on, and the stories never get old.
Relive the excitement, glory in the astounding discoveries, and revel in the cars that keep dreams alive.About the AuthorTom Cotter is the Barn Find Hunter. He spent much of his life digging
in barns and garages in search of buried automotive treasure. He has
written 16 automotive books, many on the subject of automotive
archeology. The most recent, Motor City Barn Finds, details 10 days of
searching for old cars in Detroit Michigan. His books have led to a
Youtube video series called Barn Find Hunter, sponsored by Hagerty
Insurance and Shell. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Cotter was
founder of an automotive and motorsport PR and marketing agency called
Cotter Group. The agency managed many of the largest sponsors in all
forms of racing including NASCAR, IndyCar/CART, SCCA, NHRA and vintage
racing. He is a contributing editor for Vintage Motorsport magazine and
regularly contributes to Hagerty magazine. He lives in Davidson, NC.
